Thread’s technical expertise and enthusiasm for what we do is a big part of what defines us. We expand ideas, identify practical solutions, and design effective products that deliver business value and real-world impact. While no two projects are the same, our design process remains consistent: we listen, research, create, test and deliver. We specialise in products that integrate fabrics and soft materials; this ranges from medical support garments to rucksacks to innovative sportswear.

We’re user led: the user experience and function are the core of the strength of a product. These are the robust foundations on which to build a beautiful and desirable product.

We’re strategic: we like to understand the background and underlying principles of our clients insights and ideas. This helps us to fully understand their vision, drive new design ideas and provide fresh direction.

We’re technical: we are continually exploring the capabilities, benefits and limits of materials and processes. With our varying backgrounds, we combine hard and soft skills.
